Hello and a happy Friday to you,
The photo above shows a corner of my flat that I revamped last night. I’ve lived here for more than three years and always intended to do an eclectic picture wall. However, I somehow never got round to it. Now I have, I can’t believe it took me so long to get round to it. OK, it might be a bit improvised and wonky, but I love it and I really enjoyed hammering nails into the wall. So, if you’ve been meaning to do something around the house, why not set aside an hour to get it done? Especially if it makes you feel a lot better about the space you’re in. You deserve it!
I have to admit this week has been challenging as sadly my egg freezing last Friday didn’t go as well as planned. Nineteen eggs were retrieved but I found out later that day that only eight were mature enough to freeze. The aim was to freeze between 15 and 20. I’ve decided to go immediately into another round of injections starting in the next few days. To be fair, it hasn’t been the worst week to lie on the sofa under a duvet with Sex Education, the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie film, the Great British Bake Off and Drag Race UK, all dropping in the past week. I’m also watching Married At First Sight UK and The Circle. Message me if you want to chat about them.
Today is my 34th birthday (hence the ‘new year’) and I’m going for brunch with my sister and my baby nephew before a chilled dinner with a few friends this evening. If you like the newsletter and want to buy me a cheeky birthday coffee, you can do so here.
